The Rooney’s and O’Briens spent a truly wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday during our youngest son’s senior year at VA Tech. This lodge and grounds provided a warm and serene setting for our family celebration of another Virginia Tech victory over UVA in the classic football game. We all felt very comfortable, relaxed, and welcome here and it will provide many cherished memories with the rugged landscape, rural beauty, and rustic, homey, and historic lodge.
